Pianist Xue Yang received her master’s degree in piano performance from Boston University and currently resides in the DFW area. 

She is originally from China and was the recipient of several awards in Chinese and International piano competitions such as the 2nd Teenager 

Talent TV Competition, the 1st Royal Bösendorfer Cup, Beijing Music Festival, and Singapore International Orchid Instrument Competition. 

Through her undergraduate years at Beijing Normal University, she worked as a class piano teaching assistant, choral

and instrumental accompanist, and private piano teacher.


She gave her two solo piano recitals in Boston University's concert hall, instructed by Professor Michael Lewin. 

She also had masterclasses with John Perry and Vivian Choi Milton.


Ms. Yang is thrilled to be able to pass along her love for music to her piano students. She is particularly passionate

about helping her students to develop healthy technical habits for piano learning from beginners to advanced level students.

She believes that there is always a solution for every technical and musical problem, and thrives on helping students find those

creative solutions.
