Violinist Ann Cho enjoys a versatile career that spans internationally and across the United States, having performed on numerous occasions at Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, Alice Tully, Benaroya Hall, the Meyerson Center, among others.

Ms. Cho is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where she studied with Catherine Cho and Daniel Phillips as a recipient of the Dorothy DeLay Scholarship. She is currently pursuing her Master’s at Yale University, under the tutelage of Ani Kavafian.

Festival appearances include IMS Prussia Cove Mastercourses (Cornwall, England), Tanglewood Music Center (Lenox, MA), Kneisel Hall (Blue Hill, Maine), Music Academy of the West (Santa Barbara, California), Aspen Music Festival and School (Aspen, Colorado) and the Sarasota Music Festival (Sarasota, Florida), where she performed Bach’s Triple Concerto with Ani Kavafian and Mendelssohn Octet with the Pacifica Quartet. Ms. Cho’s mentors include Timothy Eddy, Joseph Lin, Joseph Kalichstein, Paul Kantor, Alex Kerr, Ronald Copes, and Gregory Zuber.

Ms. Cho performs regularly with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Princeton Symphony and the New York Classical Players. She has performed under the batons of the world’s leading conductors, including Gustavo Dudamel, Alan Gilbert, Stéphane Denéve, Marin Alsop, and John Adams. Additionally, Ms. Cho has been invited as soloist with the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Austin Civic Orchestra, and has been heard on WQXR and KMFA Classical radio stations.

A passionate teacher, Ms. Cho tailors her approach to the personal needs of each student. While a student at Juilliard, she was awarded the Morse Teaching Artist Fellowship and was a Music Advancement Program’s Teaching Fellow, working in public schools across New York as well as within Juilliard. She continues her work at Yale with the Music in Schools initiative, teaches Secondary Lessons to graduate students, and maintains an online, private studio.

* 노르웨이 작곡가 그리그는 3 곡의 바이올린 소나타를 작곡 했습니다. 그 중 마지막 소나타 3번은 가장 규모가 크고 어려운 곡으로, 3악장으로 구성된 이 3번의 두번째 악장은 멜로디가 보석같이 예쁜 곡입니다. 노르웨이 서정적인 분위기가 이국적인 멜로디가 매력적인 곡입니다.
