3. Performer: Deborah Moriarty 

Deborah Moriarty is professor of piano and chair of the piano area at the Michigan State University College of Music, where she is a recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Award.

A Massachusetts native, she made her debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at age 11. She has also served on the piano faculty at the New England Conservatory of Music and the University of Lowell. 

Moriarty attended the Curtis Institute of Music, the Juilliard School, and the New England Conservatory of Music, where she received her Master of Music with honors. She has studied with Russell Sherman, Theodore Lettvin, and Beveridge Webster.

모리아티 선생님은 만 3세 때 피아노를 시작해서 그때부터 친 곡을 다 기억한다고 하시네요.  자타공인 천재라고 합니다 ㅎㅎ

프랑스 작곡가 뿔랑의 플룻 소나타 입니다. 플룻곡 중 가장 유명한 곡이기도 하고요, 연주를 하는 조성현씨는 1990년 생으로, 현재 연세대학교 최연소 교수로 재직중입니다. 개인적으로, 이렇게 플룻을 잘 하는 사람은 처음 보네요 ㅎㅎ 

아비람 라이케르트는 지금 현재 서울대학교 피아노과 교수로 재직 중입니다.

* Daniel Barenboim was a pupil of Edwin Fischer, who was a pupil of Martin Krause, who was a pupil of Franz Liszt, who was a pupil of Carl Czerny, who was a pupil of Beethoven himself. He is a direct musical descendant of Beethoven!
